2025 BOND EXTENSION
OTSEGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Community Conversations
Future-Focused, Student-Centered,
Community-Driven
Otsego Public Schools is committed to keeping our district at the forefront of educational possibilities and opportunities for our students, staff, families and community. That means focusing on every aspect of education - from learning spaces to infrastructure, technology to security.

Extensive assessments were completed by TMP architecture with the assistance of several local contractors, in partnership with our district leader teams, to create a comprehensive picture and plan for our district for the next 30-40 years with a prioritized list of the findings and projects to keep our facilities updated and programming relevant. All this without increasing the debt millage rate to our taxpayers.
The plans set forth create a foundation and path for Otsego’s facilities to remain at our standard of excellence, transform our learning spaces to both engage students and foster an environment for collaboration and creativity. The May 2025 Bond Extension is the start of that vision for the future with four focus areas - Innovation, Renovating the Old Pool, Facility/Infrastructure improvements, Safety & Security.

It creates a future-forward plan for this district that has become a destination over the last decade. (OPS’s enrollment is 20-24% schools of choice.)
